Seared Tuna with lime and caper dressing

seared tuna and caper dressing

PREP TIME: 7 MIN COOK TIME: 20 min SERVINGS: 3 starter / 2 as main recipe

INGREDIENTS

2 Tuna steaks 2 limes, juiced
2 tbsp capers, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon wholegrain mustard
1 large bunch of coriander, finely chopped
2 good glugs of extra virgin olive oil, to taste
salt and pepper
Serve with salad and new potatoes

METHOD
Prepare the dressing by simply whisking all the ingredients together in a small mixing bowl. I love this dressing served with seared tuna, but it also goes really well with white fish and halloumi. When you're ready to serve the tuna, heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Sear tuna according to how pink you like the fish. Serve with new potatoes or rice, salad and a really big dollop of dressing. Enjoy xx This dressing is inspired by a Delia Smith classic
